Vancouver Startup Week is an incredible gathering of entrepreneurs, developers, investors, and community leaders all coming together to celebrate one of the top tech hubs in the world. The city will be teeming with events, including presentations from some of the biggest names in the tech scene.

  • Is your event fully booked? - Have no fear, waitlist is here! Event entry for waitlisters opens 5 minutes prior to event start time. It’s worth trying, you’ll have a pretty good chance of getting in.
  • A word to the wise - Please show up for events at least 10 minutes prior to event start time. Unclaimed seats will be offered to waitlisters 5 minutes prior to start time.
  • Have your pass handy, as we will scan your QR code when you attend events. But remeber, this pass does not grant you access to the events unless you have signed up!

Ryan Kuder

A native San Diegan who grew up in Encinitas, Ryan is now Managing Director at Techstars, the global startup ecosystem that helps entrepreneurs build great businesses. He currently runs Techstars’ first virtual accelerator, Techstars Anywhere. Previously he launched and ran both the Qualcomm Robotics Accelerator, powered by Techstars, in San Diego, and the Virgin Media Accelerator, powered by Techstars, in London. With Techstars, Ryan has invested in over 20 promising early stage technology startups and mentored many more. As an 19-year tech veteran, including stints as founder of several startups, and an executive at many more, Ryan has spent the majority of his career building startups from the ground up and has experienced all stages of the entrepreneurship lifecycle from two co-founders with a dream to multi-hundred million dollar exits. Prior to joining Techstars, Ryan was VP of Marketing for San Diego based ecoATM, makers of the robotic phone recycling kiosk, which was acquired by Outerwall. Ryan was also a founder at Neighborsville, Hi.Im, and Give2Schools, which all crashed and burned spectacularly. He also previously held marketing and product roles at Yahoo, eBay, and Vodafone. He graduated from Georgetown University and is a Fellow in the Aspen Institute Business and Society program. He now lives in Carlsbad with his wife, three kids, and a puggle and is a fan of craft beer, fish tacos, and the San Diego Chargers Padres.
